DOOR TO THE APOSTOLIC ANOINTING

What does it mean to have an Apostolic Anointing upon your life?

It is time to launch out in 2007

What does it mean to have an Apostolic Anointing Upon your Life?

It simply means that you have been called, chosen and appointed with one of the five –fold calling, given to the church for the perfecting of the Saints. Ephesians 4:11-12

It is most important, for believers, not to get carried away with the Title of the gifting, that was given by the Lord Jesus. Since too many times a lot of believers do get very carried away with the gifting, and runs ahead of their gifting. One of the most evident characteristics of the Apostolic Anointing is that of HUMILITY. No true apostle of God is ever proud, He or She is one of the most humble and teachable person you will ever come in contact with. An apostle is always open and subject to the Holy Spirit, and also subject to True Servants of the Lord, which include Pastors, Teachers, Missionaries and Prophets.

The calling and gifting of the Apostle has been mis-interpreted within the body of Christ for many years. Many think that this calling and anointing no longer exist in present day, but I beg to differ, this anointing is evident and very present today. This member of the five-fold ministry is definitely needed together with the Prophetic in the body of Christ now, more than ever. We must always remember at all times, that this calling and gifting was given for the edifying of the Church, and not for personal fame and glory.

The Apostolic is a very stern, teaching, correcting, rebuking and disciplining, type of anointing, but it’s all done in Love. Their main purpose is to bring back spiritual Order and Structure to the Body of Christ, to such a measure, as to cause the Body to Become beautiful, that when the world looks at the Church, they see an institution that is Disciplined, Ordered, Beautiful and Perfect, i.e. The Bride of Christ. This does not mean that the Apostle does not have the Love of God, but rather, because He or She is so passionate about the things of God, and so loves the Lord, and God’s People, that’s the reason they flow and operate the way they have been gifted to. Many misinterpret the anointing and gifting.

I want to thank God for present day apostles, and I thank God for calling me with that anointing upon my life, I glory not in the Title, but rather in the God that called me, that is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I see myself as a Humble servant of the Lord Jesus.

I pray that the Body of Christ will one day be that Perfect Bride, without spot and wrinkle, so that when the Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) comes, He will accept his bride the Church.

Faithfully

Humble Servant of the Lord Jesus Christ

IT’S TIME TO LAUNCH OUT IN 2007

OLD YEAR’S NIGHT 2006 MESSAGE

DELIVERANCE TABERNACLE MINISTRY

 Luke 5:1-11

1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. 9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: 10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. 11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

Verses 2-3 Jesus is always looking for available vessels to use. Note there were two ships standing by the lake, but he went into Simon’s. It’s important to always make one’s self available for use by the Lord. Jesus needed a vessel, which in this instance was a boat, or rather a platform, to preach/teach from. He used Simon’s ship as a pulpit to preach and teach the word of God from. This was Jesus immediate need; his need was not to go into a ship, but to have a place where he could have preach the word from. We also see many times in our own life and walk with the Lord; we always want him to work out every single situation that we have to face in our own life. Since we believe that since we have allowed him to come into our vessel that he should and must meet all our needs and wants. But we got to look carefully at this scenario, his objective was not to enter into Simon’s ship primarily to bless Simon, but his main reason, was a place to preach and teach the word of God to the people. In other words it was first about his father’s business, to bless others with the word of God, the word of deliverance, the word of healing, the word of hope, the word of health, the word of strength, the word of life and faith.

He always puts his father’s business first. Jesus always comes into your vessel to first fulfill the father’s will. We must never think that he has and must bless us first. Note I am not saying that he will not bless you, but your focus, your priority, your motive, your will must first be to let the Lord’s will be done in your life. You must be willing to say as Mary said Luke 1:38 “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word”

Vr 4 After Simon had made his vessel (His Ship) available for the Lord, and only after the father’s business was first looked after, was Jesus able to address Simon’s need. Simon’s need was this, he and his fellow workers had toiled whole night in the sea fishing, for they were fishermen by profession, but they caught nothing. What’s your profession, what’s your Business, what’s your need, whatever it is, you must first be willing to let the father’s will be accomplished in your life, then and only then can God look after your needs.

We must remember the scripture, Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

What we need to understand as children of God, whenever we try doing things in life that are important to us, and we leave the Lord out, it will always fail. Without the Lord we cannot, but with the Lord, we always can.

Jesus said unto Simon “Launch out into the deep”, as the Lord is saying to many believers. You see the Lord always speaks to his people, either through the Holy Spirit, through his word, or through his servants. But the problem is not so much listening but rather “OBEYING”.

God always speak to people, but a lot of times, what God is saying, we don’t really like to hear. We always prefer to do what we want and we like, and what we feel. You see it’s again about walking in the Flesh, which many prefer, because when you’re walking in the flesh, it’s all about you and your will and your needs, rather than the Lord’s.

LAUNCHING OUT INTO THE DEEP:

Everyone wants some deeper revelation, some greater insight, some new dimension, some spiritual higher level, some higher understanding, some new promotion, even in the church, some greater blessing.

But the mistake is that they want it to happen just so. I want to let you know by the spirit of God, it just does not happen like that, it will first cost you. You must count the cost before running the race, or fighting the war. The race is not for the swift, but those who will endure unto the end.

There are some Processes or Changes that must first happen to you before there can be any launching out, into any deep.

HUMILITY:

You cannot launch out without first having humility. You cannot get into the deep things of God, if you first don’t want to put on a spirit of humility. God hates the proud, but gives grace to the Humble. Humble thyself before the Lord, and he shall exalt you in due season. You cannot expect God to promote you in Ministry, and don’t want to be humble. You must first be willing to be a blessing in your own village and community, before you can be a blessing in America, Canada or England. A lot of times many of us can’t be a blessing in our own community, because our lifestyle does not portray Christ or his characteristics.

One thing I have understood and learnt in Christianity, as a servant of the Lord, is that God cannot use PROUD people, “Before destruction is Haughtiness”, Pride will always cause you to fail in Ministry. It will also cause you to fall. Remember Lucifer; he was cast out of heaven because of PRIDE. Samson also fell because of Pride. A proud person does not have a teachable heart or spirit. It is difficult for the Holy Spirit or God to get through, far less for the Preacher.

LOVE:

It’s impossible to launch out into any deep thing with God, if you first don’t have Love. Love for God, Love for Truth, Love for Righteousness, Love for the Holy Spirit, Love for Correction, Love for your family, Love for you Pastor, Love for your Leaders, Love for your Brethren.

Without Love no man can really make it to heaven. God is Love, and Love is of God, if a man does not have love, then that man does not have God. Perfect Love casteth out fear. There is no FEAR in love. When one says they Love God, it means that, that individual fears God and hates SIN. That individual will sincerely try not to displease God, or willfully grieve the Holy Spirit.

When one loves someone, one does not have to say it; rather it is better expressed by action, than by words.

FORGIVENESS:

Before launching out, you must be willing to forgive. Love and forgiveness goes hand in hand. God does not listen to your prayer, far less answer it, if you are not willing to forgive. Jesus told the Pharisees and Sadducees, that when you come to pray and bring your sacrifices to God, you must first forgive anyone who had done wrong against you, only then can your prayers be answered, or your sacrifices (Praises) be accepted. So even if you can sing the nicest, or play the best instrument, or even preach the best, or Praise God the Loudest in the Church, if there is not forgiveness, God does not accept it, it’s not a sweet savour in the Lord’s ears or nostrils.

Simply, if you want to move into or Launch out into the Deep things of God in 2007, then you must be willing to forgive, otherwise, you are simply fooling yourself, and spinning in circles, but going no where, no time soon. In fact you can only truly move on in Christ to any new level, only when there is forgiveness in your heart. One of the biggest obstacles in the Body of Christ is unforgiveness; it prevents believers from walking in the blessings and fullness of God.

ATTITUDE:

Having the right attitude will always determine your altitude, in every area and facet of your life, in your Job, in your business, in your personal relationship and walk with God, and in your Ministry, both personal individual as well as your local church. Your attitude will also determine your destiny. Your attitude can make you or break you. Your attitude can either be a blessing or a cursing; it’s all up to you. A man or a woman may not have all the proper credentials academically or theologically, but once they have the right attitude towards Ministry and the Lord, and are willing and available, they can go places in God. In Nehemiah states that the people had a “Mind to Work” that’s why they were able to build back the walls around Jerusalem in 52 days, rather than 45 years that it originally took. Your attitude will determine whether you can launch out into the deep or not. There can be no launching out into any deep, without having the right attitude, rembember in Numbers the twelve spies, only two of them Joshua and Caleb had the right attitude, and only the two of them out of the twelve, were actually able to enter in or rather launch out into the promise land.

  Conclusion:

One must carefully examine and re-examine one’s life and see for yourself, do I have these characteristics, do I possess Humility, Love, Forgiveness, Do I have the right attitude towards my spouse, my children, my pastor, my assistant pastor, my elders, my leaders, my workers, my fellow congregation members.

Jeremiah 12:5 “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, wherein thou trusted, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

Never let your present situation determine your future walk with God. The end is Glorious, the end is better than your past, or even your present, but it’s getting their that frustrates you. It’s not how you start that counts, but how you finish.

You cannot Launch out into the deep, if you do not want to leave the shallow i.e. (The Shallow Things Unforgiveness, past hurts, past wounds, past issues, past church hurts, past broken hearts, and broken spirits). You have to let Go, you must be willing to pick up that anchor from the shallow, and launch out into the deep, where the anchor in the boat could never touch ground, it’s there where your only hope, trust and safety is on Jesus, because out in the deep, you cannot depend on anything or anyone else but Jesus. For He is the Anchor that Holds, in spite of the Storm.

In the deep, there is no rock, boulder, or shipwreck that could stop your ship, but out in the deep, is where you are also open to the strongest of storms and the tempest of great waves and wrath of the open seas. But you know what, out in the deep, is also where there is the greatest catch and abundance of blessings that the Lord want to give to you. Out in the deep, have the resources where you learn not to lean on the arm of flesh, but the arm of the Spirit of God. It’s there where faith is really put to the test.

Remember, to go to the deep, you got to first deal with the shallow and leave the shallow...

As kingdom minded people, who belong to the kingdom of God, we must never be satisfied with the shallow, we should always press and search towards the deep, i.e. always striving to grow deeper and closer to God and the Holy Spirit. We cannot afford to get tired and caught up with the shallow stuff, or else we will never be able to launch out into the deep.

You can only launch out into the deep, by drawing closer to God; you can only do this through your personal walk with God. Through prayer, fasting and spending time in the word of God. The best place for launching out is from your knees before the Lord.

God Bless You
